Video

  • Always choose high-quality, engaging videos that hook the viewer in and sustain their interest. 
  • Aim to use videos that are between one and two minutes long. 
  • If using video that’s been produced in-house (or a video that’s been produced externally for us), make sure this includes approved fonts and our brand colour palette. 
  • If using video that hasn’t been produced for or by us, only add this to the site if the content is professionally produced and appropriate for the page. 
  • Videos should be uploaded to YouTube or Vimeo. The video URL can then be used to create a video media item. To discuss this, or any other support you may need with video, please email Hayley Daniels on h.l.daniels@salford.ac.uk.
